The Exquisite Soul of ZGCMC | Mr.Zheng: Embracing Dreams, Embracing Youthful Splendor

   Life is akin to a lengthy journey, and we must strive and run tirelessly each day. For every day that passes without us dancing, we betray the essence of life itself.

   During the transition from spring to summer in the year 2020, a passionate and ambitious young individual, carrying dreams within their heart, joined ZGCMC. It was one of the most remarkable moments of the year, and they became a member of the ZGCMC. This remarkable individual is none other than Zheng (referred to as "Worker"), an ordinary employee working as an aftersales service staff in the Project Management Center and Delivery Services Department of ZGCMC.

   The role of project management is intricate and mentally demanding, and the Delivery Services Department serves as the final link in all the work processes. Right from the beginning of joining the company, Zheng (referred to as "Worker") actively sought to explore scientific and efficient work methods. He humbly sought guidance from leaders and experienced colleagues, putting in diligent efforts to learn and grow rapidly. In a short span of time, he successfully developed into a competent project manager.

   Last year, the company completed the handover and acceptance of a project in Guizhou. Mr. Zheng, appointed by the company, was tasked with organizing, compiling, and binding the project handover and acceptance documents at the project site. However, during the journey, he learned about audit issues with another project in Chongqing that required on-site rechecking of the handover documents. Consequently, he immediately boarded a train and traveled overnight to Chongqing. After conducting a thorough inspection, Mr. Zheng discovered that the document organization did not meet the specified requirements. He then applied to the relevant leaders of the Chongqing project to borrow the necessary documents, bringing them back to the company for proper organization and revisions. Working diligently alongside his colleagues in the office for two days and nights, they successfully reorganized and revised the documents. Without delay, Mr. Zheng personally drove to the Chongqing owner’s file room to complete the archiving process.

   After completing the project in Chongqing, Mr. Zheng proceeded as planned to the project in Guizhou. During the handover process, the owner raised concerns about project delays. In order to mitigate the losses for the company, Mr. Zheng and his colleagues collected and organized explanations regarding the project’s timeline extension. They then sought verification and signatures from the relevant personnel of the owner’s organization. However, at that time, the civil engineering manager of the owner had a personal matter to attend to, and the owner’s organization had a strict requirement to submit the explanation of project delay within a specified timeframe. Despite having sustained an injury the previous day while installing idlers, Mr. Zheng and his colleagues drove for approximately 7 hours to Longhui, Hunan, where they found the civil engineering manager of the owner to verify the situation and obtain the necessary signature confirmation.

   Subsequently, various projects of the company were completed one after another. After the installation was finished in Anhui, Mr. Zheng arrived at the site to organize and submit the handover documents. Later, he traveled to Shandong to organize and submit the handover documents there, before returning to Anhui. When the project in Hubei underwent final acceptance, he hurried to Hubei. For the handover acceptance of the project in Anhui, in order to obtain timely signatures and confirmations, Mr. Zheng made two consecutive trips to Wuhan-Hankou to seek signatures and stamps from the supervising company and design institute. However, due to job transfers of the project manager from the Anhui owner, it was necessary for him to sign and confirm the handover documents, so he rushed to Wuhu...

   Mr. Zheng has spent countless days and nights at ZGCMC, traversing between various project sites. It has become his norm to tirelessly shuttle back and forth, resolving the owner’s issues promptly and safeguarding the reputation and interests of the company. He is undaunted by the hardships and willingly takes on any task. Sometimes, he arrives in a new city when night has fallen, and other times he transitions from scorching heat to freezing cold, finding himself surrounded by unfamiliar surroundings. However, he carries unwavering faith in his heart, fearlessly facing challenges without retreat.

   Only after weathering storms can one witness a rainbow. If you wish to bid farewell to timidity, let your heart grow stronger through experiences. If you aspire to break free from an ordinary life, strive to soar with pride. Those who give up at the first sign of adversity often find their dreams drifting farther away. The only path to realizing one’s dreams is through unwavering effort. Mr. Zheng is precisely such an individual, never retreating in the face of difficulties and always rising to the challenge.

   Once the distant path is chosen, we must press on through wind and rain, with the outcome yet to be determined—both you and I are dark horses!

   Every day that we do not dance is a betrayal of life. It is now the midst of summer, with the wind rustling through the treetops and the sun shining brightly. The horizon beckons to us with each new day. May we use our youth to put an exclamation mark on our final sprint!

   As ZGCMC celebrates its 20th anniversary, let us ride on the wings of dreams, never disappointing the splendor of the fleeting years.
